Today, we take an important step in the history of GuardianDB with the official launch of the Guardians Sponsorship Program.
GuardianDB has always been designed as a resilient, local-first system, built with strong technical care. Until now, all of this work has been sustained independently. With the start of the sponsorship program, we open a sustainable path to ensure the project’s continuity, stability, and long-term evolution.
The Guardians are the people and organizations that make this possible. Every contribution, whether small or recurring, directly supports ongoing development, improves code quality, strengthens infrastructure, and enables technical decisions focused on what truly matters: robustness, performance, and simplicity.
The program is structured into gladiator-inspired tiers, representing different forms of participation and commitment. Each Guardian receives an exclusive digital badge, which can be displayed on GitHub, portfolios, or social media as a visible symbol of support and dedication to GuardianDB.
We also created the Wall of Guardians, a public space for recognition. It celebrates those who help keep the ecosystem alive, resilient, and continuously evolving, featuring names, avatars or logos, along with a short note of appreciation.
In addition to financial sponsorship, the project recognizes Code Guardians: developers who contribute directly through code, reviews, fixes, and structural improvements. These contributions are publicly acknowledged on the website, on GitHub, and in the project repository.
The Guardians Sponsorship Program is not just a way to provide financial support. It is a long-term commitment to quality, technical independence, and the vision behind GuardianDB.
If you believe in the project and want to help protect and move it forward, join the Guardians.
Every contribution matters. Every Guardian strengthens the system.
